An experience to remember
Being part of a family photo shoot is super fun and the results will be cherished by everyone in your family forever. I like to tell a story with my photos, using several locations to create diversity in the final product, highlighting what makes you and your family unique.
What To Expect
Step 1: Why now?
This is one of the first things we'll discuss when planning out your photo session. I like to know if there is a milestone you are capturing, a birthday or just because. That helps me understand what your end goal is with the photo session. The answer can be as simple as "I am on vacation and want to capture my family".
Pro tip:
Please tell me anything that you think would be helpful to know about your family. I love to hear about silly quirks or fun things that your kids are involved in. It helps me strike up conversations with the kids when we are shooting, and it helps them be more comfortable because they look at me more like a friend of the family rather than a stranger.
Step 2: Save the date!
After our initial conversation and you decide you want to book with me I ask for a $100 deposit to hold the date. Once the deposit is made, I will send a contract to seal the deal.
Step 3: Confirm & check the weather!
A few days before your session I will confirm the location and time of your photo session. We will also review any challenges that may come up due to weather.
I will also send you a link to take care of the balance of the session fee. You can pay it online or you also have the option to give me cash or a check at the end of the session.
Step 4: Day of, look for the Jeep
On the day of the session, I can be reached on my cell at 203-394-2234 if you are running late or anything comes up. You will know I am at the shoot as my Jeep will be there.
Step 5: 24 hours later, review your photos!
The day after the photo session, you are invited to come to my studio to view your photos and choose what you would like to purchase. If you would like to have me design a wall gallery for you please send me photos of your empty spaces in your house ahead of time. I can then have some ideas ready for you to review. I ask that the decision-makers come to the ordering session so I can get you your products on time.
If you are unable to make it to the ordering session while you are here, I ask for a $200 deposit and I will send you a link so you can order from home. We can do a zoom call to review the photos or you can do so on your own. You will have access to the link for 2 weeks and the $200 deposit will be applied towards your purchase.
Display your photo session on your walls!
Shortly after you arrive home from your vacation your products will be delivered. Then you get to sit back and enjoy your vacation memories for years to come! I love to get photos from clients of their photos hung on the wall so please send them to me!
